These Terms of Service apply to your use of the Pizza Oven Club website and to purchases made from Pizza Oven Club, operated by POC Pty Ltd.
By using this website or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms together with any order-specific terms confirmed in writing, and the policies linked below.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

2. Product information
We aim to describe our products accurately and provide clear information about dimensions, materials, finish options, assembly, lead times and delivery.
Because our ovens contain cast refractory and other manufactured components, minor variations in appearance, texture, dimensions, colour and finish may occur. These variations do not necessarily indicate a defect.
Images on the website are intended to show the product as accurately as reasonably possible, but screen settings, lighting and natural material variation may affect appearance.
If we identify a material error in a product description or a material change affecting an order you have already placed, we will contact you before proceeding where reasonably necessary.
3. Prices and GST
Unless stated otherwise, prices displayed on our Australian website are in Australian dollars and include GST.
Freight, delivery, positioning, lifting, installation and other site-specific services are not included in the product price unless expressly stated or confirmed in writing.
We may change prices for future orders at any time. A price change does not affect an order already accepted by us.
4. Orders and acceptance
Submitting an order does not require us to accept it where there is a genuine reason we cannot fulfil it.
We may decline or cancel an order before fulfilment or production has commenced if, for example:
- the product is unavailable;
- there is an obvious pricing or product-information error;
- payment cannot be authorised or is reversed;
- we reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised payment; or
- delivery to the requested location cannot reasonably be arranged.
If we cannot accept or fulfil an order after you have paid, we will notify you and refund the amount paid for the affected product or service.
If we have agreed specific written terms with you for an order, those terms apply to that order to the extent they are inconsistent with these general Terms.
5. Payment
Payment must be made using a payment method made available by us or otherwise agreed with Pizza Oven Club.
Orders must be paid in full before collection or dispatch unless we have expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
Payment processing may be provided by Shopify or other third-party payment providers. Your use of those payment services may also be subject to their terms and privacy practices.
6. Ready-made Ovens and production
Ready-made Ovens are assembled and finished in our Landsborough workshop after ordering.
For the purposes of change-of-mind cancellations, production has commenced once assembly or finishing work on your specific oven has started.
Change-of-mind cancellations and returns are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy.
If we expect a material delay to the estimated production time, we will contact you with the information reasonably available to us.
7. Pizza Oven Kits
Pizza Oven Kits are supplied as a system of components for assembly by the customer or a person chosen by the customer.
You are responsible for assembling the kit in accordance with the instructions supplied by Pizza Oven Club and for ensuring that the oven is placed on a suitable, stable supporting structure.
If you are unsure about any stage of assembly, curing or use, please contact us before proceeding.
8. Delivery and collection
Collection and freight arrangements are governed by our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
Freight is quoted separately unless expressly stated otherwise.
Delivery dates and transit times are estimates unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
For Ready-made Ovens, transport does not include final positioning, lifting, installation or site works unless those services are specifically included in a written quote.
9. Returns and change of mind
Our voluntary change-of-mind return and cancellation arrangements are set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
These arrangements are in addition to, and do not limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Warranty
Covered structural components of our Pizza Oven Kit and Ready-made Oven are subject to our 5-Year Structural Warranty.
The Structural Warranty is a voluntary warranty provided by Pizza Oven Club and is in addition to rights and remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
11. Assembly, curing and operating instructions
You must follow the assembly, curing, operating, maintenance and safety instructions supplied with the product.
Failure to follow those instructions may cause damage to the oven and may affect whether a problem is covered by our voluntary warranty. It does not remove any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law where those rights apply.
12. Safety and use
Wood-fired ovens operate at very high temperatures. Exterior surfaces, the oven entrance, door, flue and surrounding components may become extremely hot during use and can remain hot after the fire has gone out.
Use the oven only for its intended purpose and follow all supplied safety and operating instructions.
Children and pets should be kept away from hot surfaces and the operating oven unless directly supervised by a responsible adult.
Do not use fuels, accelerants or other substances contrary to the supplied instructions.
You are responsible for checking and complying with local fire restrictions, planning requirements and other rules that apply to the location and use of your oven.
13. Site preparation and third-party work
Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, Pizza Oven Club does not provide site preparation, foundations, stands, lifting, final positioning, installation or building approval services.
You are responsible for ensuring that any stand, frame, bench, foundation or surrounding structure is suitable for the oven and its weight.
If you engage a third party to transport, lift, position, assemble, install or modify the oven, that arrangement is between you and the third party unless we have expressly arranged the service as part of our contract with you.
14. Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law where those guarantees apply.
Nothing in these Terms, our Returns & Refunds Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy or Structural Warranty is intended to exclude, restrict or modify those rights or remedies.
If a product fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, compensation or another remedy depending on the circumstances and applicable law.
15. Responsibility for loss or damage
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
To the extent permitted by law, Pizza Oven Club is not responsible for loss or damage caused by matters outside our control or by misuse, incorrect assembly, incorrect curing, unsuitable support or site conditions, unauthorised modification, or work carried out by a third party, except to the extent that the loss or damage was caused or contributed to by our breach of contract, negligence or a defect for which we are legally responsible.
16. Events outside reasonable control
Production, collection or delivery may occasionally be affected by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, transport disruption, supply interruption or other unexpected events.
If this materially affects your order, we will contact you and work with you on revised arrangements.
If performance becomes impossible or a delay becomes unreasonable in the circumstances, either party may discuss cancellation of the affected part of the order. Where an order is cancelled because we cannot supply the affected goods or services, we will refund amounts paid for the cancelled part.
17. Website use
You may use this website for lawful personal or business purposes connected with learning about or purchasing our products.
You must not misuse the website, attempt to interfere with its operation, introduce malicious code, or use the website in a way that infringes another person's rights.
18. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the text, photographs, graphics, product designs, videos, branding and other content on this website are owned by or licensed to Pizza Oven Club.
You may view and use website content for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, publish, sell or commercially exploit our content without permission, except where permitted by law.
19. Third-party links and services
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or use services provided by third parties, including Shopify, payment providers, freight providers and review platforms.
We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of third-party websites that we do not control. This does not affect any responsibility we may have under law for services we arrange as part of your purchase.

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
21. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time for future use of the website and future orders.
The Terms that apply to a purchase are the Terms in effect when your order is accepted, together with any order-specific terms agreed with you, unless a change is required by law or agreed by both parties.
We will update the “Last updated” date when these Terms change.
22. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that part will be read down or severed to the extent necessary, and the remaining Terms will continue to apply.
23. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Queensland, Australia, subject to any rights you have under applicable consumer or other mandatory laws.
